Our Story
The Story Behind GLOSS.
How frustration, passion, and a flea market table turned into something real.
Faith & Che - Founders
2024
Everyone Was Doing It Wrong
Faith kept seeing it everywhere. Another lip gloss brand. Another launch. Another influencer pushing the "newest trend" with all the right buzzwords.
But she knew they were missing the point. The real problem wasn't marketing. It was the product itself.
Sticky. Yucky. Residue-leaving. That "clear gloss" that maybe lasts a while, but is impossible to get off. And the worst part? You finally remove it, and your lips are still dry.
Faith knew there had to be a better way.
The Problem
Years in the Making
Faith's Collection
What Faith had that others didn't was years of obsession. Years of collecting scents, studying fragrance, understanding what makes a smell memorable.
And years of trial and error finding makeup that actually worked for her sensitive skin and lips. She knew what ingredients to avoid. She knew what actually nourishes.
She realized she could combine both worlds and create something nobody had truly done right:
Clear. Scented. Lip gloss.
Simple as that. But done properly.
From Velvet Vibes to GLOSS.
The original plan was different. Faith and her fiancé Che were going to launch "Velvet Vibes" — a black label, luxury aesthetic. Something sleek and elevated.
But it didn't feel right. It didn't align with who they were or what they wanted the brand to represent.
They were struggling. So they made a decision: cut out the middleman. Stop overthinking. Make it themselves.
Together, Faith and Che got to work crafting the ultimate formula. And when it came time to name it, the answer was obvious.
The brand should reflect the product. Simple. Direct. GLOSS.
Faith & Che Working
Literally
Blood, Sweat & Tears
The New House
After leaving Orlando, Faith and Che moved into a new house. Fresh start. New chapter. The tubes were on their way, and they were spending their time perfecting scent formulations.
Then a hurricane warning hit.
With the storm approaching, they got restless. Might as well be productive, right? Che started setting up a light for their workspace. It wasn't fully secured. It slipped off the tile. And it landed directly on Faith's head.
Her head split open.
They rushed to the hospital — a hurricane bearing down on them. Faith ended up getting 7 stitches. The doctor told them if they had arrived just one hour later, they wouldn't have been admitted. The hospital was about to go on lockdown because of the storm.
After the stitches, they had to race back home. Through the storm. To safety.
People say "blood, sweat, and tears" as a figure of speech.
For us, it was literal.
Shortly after Faith healed up, the tubes arrived. And they hit their first flea market. The rest is history.
7 Stitches Later
The Every-Woman's Gloss
"She's the girl next door — cute and quiet, but her scent is strong and bold. Her demeanor is luxurious, but she's not ashamed to repurpose used things."
When you think "clear gloss," you think GLOSS. That's the goal.

The Hurricane
A hurricane warning hit. While setting up the workspace, a light fell and split Faith's head open. 7 stitches. The hospital was about to go on lockdown — one hour later and they wouldn't have been admitted. Raced home through the storm. Blood, sweat, and tears — literally.

Beach Testing
We hit the beach to test some unreleased scents and spread the word. Handed out samples. Talked to strangers. The reviews? Amazing. People genuinely loved it.
Ongoing
Real Feedback
Faith runs a side business selling fashion items, and includes a free GLOSS with every order. Hundreds of glosses given away. The result? Not a single bad review. Actual comments on her page raving about the lip gloss they didn't even pay for.

Where That Leaves Us
That first flea market changed everything. Watching people smell the glosses for the first time. Seeing their faces light up. Hearing them say "wait, this actually smells good?" That moment confirmed what we already believed — we had something special.
Since then, GLOSS has been perfected, tested, and worked on tirelessly. Over a year of refining formulas. Tweaking scents. Listening to feedback. Improving every single detail.
And now? We're finally here.
GLOSS Today
A fully optimized website. A growing social media presence. A fresh perspective. And most importantly — the confidence that comes from knowing exactly what we've built.
This product is the best of the best. One of a kind. And it will truly satisfy any customer who tries it.
We're not saying that because it sounds good. We're saying it because we've spent over a year proving it — one gloss at a time.
We're Not Perfect
Have we received constructive criticism? Absolutely. We listen to every piece of feedback. We're always improving.
But here's what we can say with complete confidence: we have never had a single person tell us they don't like the product.
Not one.
Our Promise
You Like It, Or Your Money Back.
That's not marketing. That's not a gimmick. That's just confidence in what we've built. Try it. If you don't love it, we'll make it right.
